Key highlights to Spotfire® 14.2
An innovation release is for those who want to be using the latest and greatest features of Spotfire. Launched last year, Spotfire 14.0 LTS is the new long-term support release of Spotfire, providing more than 80 new updates since the last release, Spotfire 12.0 LTS. Spotfire 14.2 is the latest innovation release, featuring updates to:
- Data wrangling
- Data connectivity
- Visual analytics
- Administration and governance
- APIs / SDK

Visual authoring gets an update
Here’s one quick example of the updates to Spotfire in 14.2. Visualization authoring now has a new unified experience available in preview for web and installed clients. The visualization properties panel is:
- Easy to use: Only shows applied properties so you can easily understand how visuals are configured
- Searchable: Quickly find properties and settings to edit via the search bar
- Efficient: Configure multiple visualizations at the same time while also reusing configurations via drag-and-drop options
