A powerful partnership with Microsoft
Spotfire Copilot integrates Microsoft Azure OpenAI as part of a recently announced partnership between Cloud Software Group and Microsoft to bring “joint cloud solutions and generative AI to more than 100 million people.” Part of that partnership is further investments into Spotfire Copilot. On the partnership, Scott Bello, General Manager of Software and Digital Platforms at Microsoft, states, “We are looking forward to our continued collaboration to bring an even more powerful enterprise-grade experience to Spotfire.”
Zia Mansoor, Corporate Vice President, Data & AI at Microsoft, added, “Spotfire Copilot integrates Azure OpenAI to enable improved productivity and efficiency to Spotfire’s new and seasoned users.”

It’s all about efficiency
Spotfire Copilot, our natural language extension to Spotfire, helps all Spotfire users make their workflows more efficient and productive:
- Advanced Spotfire users have a head start in generating charts, data views, data functions, or reports. They can leave the more routine parts of their job, such as report generation or boilerplate code in a data function, to Spotfire Copilot and focus their energy on the more exciting portions of their job.
- Newer Spotfire users will have a much shorter time to value. They can significantly shorten their learning curve through natural language interactions with Spotfire—generating data-informed insights or visuals in a fraction of the time compared to the traditional methods.
Novice or advanced—every subject matter expert can use the context of their internal knowledge base at their fingertips, right next to their analytical charts. That way, experts can be more productive—finding internal, proprietary knowledge without having to leave the Spotfire environment.
